Terms of Service

Here's what you're agreeing to:
  • You own what you create. Programs, edits, uploaded materials — full ownership stays with you.
  • Review AI-generated content before using it. AI can make mistakes. You're responsible for verifying accuracy.
  • Use LXERA responsibly. No illegal content, no harassment, no infringement of others' rights.
  • Cancel anytime. No long-term commitments. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LXERA ("we," "us," or "our") at lxera.ai and any related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

01 Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

02 The Service

LXERA is an AI-powered platform that helps users create structured learning experiences. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate course content based on your inputs.

Important: AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or require editing. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use, especially for compliance, regulatory, or safety-critical training.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect your use of the Service.

03 Credits & Billing

How Credits Work

The Service uses a credit-based system. Different actions consume different amounts of credits based on complexity:

  • Generating a complete program
  • Refining lessons or modules
  • Uploading and integrating documents
  • Exporting to PDF, PPTX, or SCORM formats

Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Unused Creator credits roll over for one month. Additional credit packs can be purchased at any time.

Subscriptions & Cancellation

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection). You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods or unused credits.

Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not apply retroactively to the current billing period.

04 Content Ownership & Licensing

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you input into the Service, including:

  • Uploaded documents and reference materials
  • Training topics and program descriptions
  • Edits and refinements you make
  • Programs generated by the Service based on your inputs

License to LXERA

By uploading content or using the Service, you grant LXERA a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your content or your account.

Important: LXERA does not claim any ownership rights over your content or generated outputs. We do not use your content to train AI models — ours or any third party's.

05 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms
  • Generate content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond the intended interface
  • Resell access to the Service without our written consent
  • Circumvent credit limits or usage restrictions
  • Impersonate any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

06 LXERA Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, documentation, and branding, is owned by LXERA and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to LXERA's intellectual property beyond the right to use the Service as intended.

07 Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers for AI processing, payment handling, authentication, and other functions. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. LXERA is not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

08 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

You acknowledge that AI-generated content may require review and editing before use.

09 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LXERA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to LXERA in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LXERA harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your content uploaded or generated through the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of a third party

11 Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your content within 30 days of account termination, except where retention is required by law.

12 Governing Law

LXERA is established in Turkey. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

For users residing in the European Union, LXERA voluntarily complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and respects your statutory consumer rights under EU law. Nothing in these Terms affects rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection regulations in your country of residence.

13 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on our website
  • Sending an email notification to your account email
  • Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page

Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may terminate your account.
