  • You own everything you create. Every program, every edit, every uploaded document — full ownership stays with you.
  • You can delete your account anytime. Your personal data and content are removed within 30 days.

This Privacy Policy describes how LXERA ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our platform at lxera.ai and any related services (the "Service"). LXERA is established in Turkey and complies with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). For users in the European Union, we voluntarily comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For California residents, we comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

01 Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and payment information (processed by our third-party payment provider). When you use the Service, we collect:

  • Content you input, including training topics and program descriptions
  • Documents and reference materials you upload
  • Edits and refinements you make to generated content
  • Account preferences and settings

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect usage data including pages visited, features used, session duration, browser type, device information, and IP address. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and improve the Service.

Information from Third Parties

If you sign in using a third-party authentication provider (such as Google), we receive your name and email address from that provider. We do not receive your password.

02 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process your transactions and manage your account
  • Generate and deliver AI-powered course content based on your inputs
  • Communicate with you about the Service, including updates and support
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the product experience
  • Comply with legal obligations

03 AI Processing & Your Content

LXERA uses artificial intelligence to generate course content based on your inputs. Your content — including topics, uploaded documents, and course materials — is processed by AI models to create structured learning experiences.

Your content is sent to third-party AI providers (including Anthropic and others) for processing. These providers process your content solely to generate the requested output and do not use your content to train their models. We select AI providers that offer data processing agreements aligned with industry privacy standards.

Important: We do not use your course content, uploaded materials, or generated outputs to train our own AI models or any third-party AI models. Your content stays yours.

04 Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you input into the Service, including:

  • Uploaded documents and reference materials
  • Training topics and program descriptions
  • Edits and refinements you make
  • Programs generated by the Service based on your inputs

LXERA does not claim any ownership rights over your content or generated outputs. You are free to use, modify, distribute, and commercialize your generated programs without restriction.

05 Data Storage & Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to operate the Service.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

06 Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or course content to third parties. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • AI processing providers as necessary to deliver the Service
  • Payment processors to handle billing
  • Service providers who assist in operating the platform (such as hosting and analytics)
  • Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our legal rights
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you)

07 Data Retention

We retain your account information and course content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and course content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

08 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information and course content
  • Export your course content in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

09 Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and keep you logged in. We use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used and to improve the experience. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning properly.

10 International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence, including countries where data protection laws may differ. We take appropriate measures to ensure your information receives adequate protection in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable regulations including GDPR.

11 Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
